Testimony

My father introduced me to music at a very young age and encouraged me to play, even if the sounds I made were less than pleasing to the ear. It was mostly folk, country and popular music styles. I would also sneak my parent’s classical albums off to my room and listen to the complex sounds and wonder how they did that. There was no doubt that I would get into music programs at school as soon as I could. Music opened many opportunities to me, like touring Europe with the Youth Orchestra of Fort Worth and playing with some of the best musicians in many different genres.

After high school I was playing in rock bands and exploring ‘the world’. I saw and experienced many things and soon realized that without God, life was meaningless and was a very painful place.

Thank God I have been saved and baptized!

I now dedicate my life to follow Jesus Christ.

I was married in 1992, and we were blessed with a son in 1995 and another in 1996. Both our sons had serious medical issues that required several surgeries and our youngest son Andy had a neurological condition that changed our lives. Our church and friends helped us keep and strengthen our faith. After a few years of this, all was going well when my wife Amy had a head injury accident that caused 2 years of treatment and ongoing medical problems. Once again we were lifted up and we felt the presence of the Holy Spirit moving within our lives.

I am now committed more than ever to give back what God has blessed me with - that means my time, my talent or anything God calls me to do for his glory and his kingdom.
